Created in 1986, Sermatec’s original activity was the design, manufacture and installation of machines dedicated to the industrial production of button mushrooms.
Its field of expertise, however, expanded very quickly to electrochemical machining (to the point of making it the second pillar of activity of the brand) but also to the manufacture of composting units for organic and household waste, which the group has been developing since the early 2000s.
Bought in 2009 by its current manager, Brice LACUBE, Sermatec is stepping up its development in France, then abroad, to establish itself as the leading brand in its historic markets. It is also developing a third activity of design, manufacturing and installation of waste recovery processes (notably CSR lines) and is establishing itself as a key player in this field.
Its development is based on global control of the value chain, from the study phase, analysis, then creation and manufacturing, up to installation. This approach allows us to offer tailor-made solutions to our customers, including dedicated training for teams and operational technical assistance in less than 48 hours after the diagnosis of the fault.
